“One should be kind to a fainting friend, but you accuse me without any fear of the Almighty. My brothers, you have proved as unreliable as a seasonal brook that overflows its banks in the spring when it is swollen with ice and melting snow.”

  • He is surrounded by his friends.
  • He is looking for reasons for continued hope. Job 6:11
  • He is looking for kindness. Job 6:14
  • He is looking for words that do not presume guilt. Job 6:29-30
  • He is looking for godly friends.
  • They did sit with him in sorrow. Job 2:11-13
  • Then they lecture. Job 4:7-9
  • Mourn with those who mourn. Romans 12:15

  • Be the friend that knows to keep silent, and where to guide.
