settle down: to adopt an orderly and routine way of life, take up a permanent post,
- Abide: to remain; continue; stay
- Dwell: to live or stay as a permanent resident
- Tabernacle: to dwell
- Reside: to dwell permanently or for a considerable time
God plans:
- But the LORD’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken.
Psalm 33:11 - O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.
Psalm 40:5 - Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves your plans.
Psalm 119:91 - The LORD will work out his plans for my life— for your faithful love, O LORD, endures forever. Don’t abandon me, for you made me.
Psalm 138:8 - And the LORD said, “That’s right, and it means that I am watching, and I will certainly carry out all my plans.”
Jeremiah 1:12
His plans are accomplished:
- I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Job 42:2 ESV - The LORDwill fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands.
Psalm 138:8 ESV - You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.
Proverbs 19:21 NIV - And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:6
Trust His plans, they will be accomplished.
