When the people heard the thunder and the loud blast of the ram’s horn, and when they saw the flashes of lightning and the smoke billowing from the mountain, they stood at a distance, trembling with fear.
Exodus 20:18

Then God gave the people all these instructions.
Exodus 20:1

• God reveals Himself to His people in the Law.
• His holy presence caused the earth to shake.
• God laid down the Law to be our judge, and it shook the earth.
• Jesus did not come to condemn, He came to fulfill the Law. John 3:16-17
• Jesus took God’s judgment in our place, and the earth shook. Matthew 27:50-51
• The weight of judgment shook the earth.
• Hebrews 12:26
• Jesus will return to bring judgment. Revelation 6:12, 15-17
• His judgment will shake the earth.
• Those who are hidden in Christ will find security in Him.

Remember that Christ has taken the judgment in my place. I am hidden in Christ, and His kingdom will not be shaken.
