Holy Spirit

• First, we receive the Spirit when we place our faith in Christ. He takes up residence in our lives.
• Second, the filling of the Spirit depends on how much of our life we allow Him to reside in.

We can ruin, or enrich our life with Christ.

We can hinder, or we can fuel the work and filling of Spirit; the choice is ours.

• Sin hinders the filling of the Spirit.
  Sin says, “I submit to my will, wants, and desires. I work to advance myself… my Kingdom.”

• Obedience fuels the filling of the Spirit.
  Obedience says. “I submit to God’s will, wants, and desires. I work to advance His Kingdom.”
