Scripture:

2 KINGS 23:1-20, 2 CHRONICLES 34:29-33 2, KINGS 23:21-28, 2 CHRONICLES 35:1-19, NAHUM 1:1-3:19

Renewed Covenant

The king took his place of authority beside the pillar and renewed the covenant in the LORD’s presence. He pledged to obey the LORD by keeping all his commands, laws, and decrees with all his heart and soul.
2 Kings 23:3a

My Takeaways

Something Old

How desperate am I for revival? What would it take to lead me to revival?

  • Desperate enough to make me read the Book?
  • Desperate enough to make a covenant of obedience with God?
  • Desperate enough to make my covenant public?

Pause and carefully clearly consider the questions before you answer, God takes covenants seriously.

  • Think about what a yes would mean.
  • Think about what a no would mean.

Renew:

  • to make, say, or do again.
  • to revive; reestablish.
  • to restore to a former state; make new or as if new again.

Something New

This message concerning Nineveh came as a vision to Nahum, who lived in Eklosh.
Nahum 1:1

It seems Nineveh fell out of repentance.

Something To Do

Are you satisfied with the way things are, Wendy, or are you ready for a revival?
