Both Mahlon and Kilion died. This left Naomi alone, without her two sons or her husband.

So, Naomi returned from Moab, accompanied by her daughter-in-law Ruth, the young Moabite woman. They arrived in Bethlehem in late spring, at the beginning of the barley harvest.

God’s timing is always perfect.
Naomi teaches how to respond to life’s greatest tragedy, the loss of a husband and a son:
- Turn back to God.

The name Naomi means “sweet, pleasant, - Be real with people about how things are… how you feel.
“Don’t call me Naomi,” she responded. “Instead, call me Mara, for the Almighty has made life very bitter for me.”

Things have been terrible, and the answer isn’t in going further from God, but in drawing closer to Him.
We will see that God can turning mourning to dancing.
