The cave at Adullum was in the same region as the Valley of Elah where the David killed Goliath. No wonder David could stand at the opening of the cave over looking the valley and say:
God will:
David recalled:
Until: up to the time that or when; till
When is my until?
God doesn’t have and doesn’t need a plan B. We just need to learn to enjoy (not endure), enjoy our time of waiting with Him until His plan A is accomplished.
I know that You can do all things, And that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.

So, David left Gath and escaped to the cave of Adullam. Soon his brothers and all his other relatives joined him there.
